From Sea to Space: Testing the Future of Exploration and Science

This seminar explores the intersection of technology development, scientific research, and exploration across extreme environments-from the depths of the ocean to the reaches of space.

Dr. Dawn Kernagis will draw on her experience as a crew member and scientist on NASA's NEEMO 21 undersea analog mission and as Scientific Director for the undersea habitat company DEEP, highlighting how living and working underwater can serve as a testbed for technologies, procedures, science, and human operations relevant to future space exploration.
